AD*olescent

Campuses become a huge showroom and food expo in these days, especially in the high school. The influences of Advertisement condense in the campuses .The competition in the same generation is more serious than our imagination. Kids need friends , so they need topics to make friends . Then, Ads connect topics becoming a more powerful forces cover up campuses. Kids get the “mark” of Affluenza from their parents and pit what they caught from the environments together, and they mix all the information becoming their own “language” of Affluenza. The “style” they fit, the foods they eat, the “tone” they speak…etc are all influenced by Ads and it’s also a main trade of teenager’s pop culture.

Maybe we are not only educated by teachers and books, but also educated by Affluenza. They way we learned from Affluenza is a process as be socialized. Maybe we could legislate for keeping away the Ad signs in the campuses, but we can’t stop Affluenza growing in the kids’ minds. They way how we grow up is not only studying in the school, but also finding a way that how to survive in the adolescent Affluenza in the campus.
